Work with Ben during the day and continue at night if you like, take walks in the woods, sleep in our comfortable guest appartment (23m2, with private bathroom, kitchen and balcony), enjoy Kieke's delicious meals or eat out at the village's Michelin star restaurant. So much more than a bookbinding class!
Rates
• Private tuition €500 per day (including lunch, tea/coffee)
• Accommodation €75 per night (optional)
• Breakfast €10 per day (optional)
• Pick-up service from trainstation in Karlsruhe or Strasbourg €35 (optional)

Spending two days learning to make the Onion Binding Version 2.0 with Ben Elbel was binding heaven.
On the third day, I watched and observed a typical day in the bindery with Ben and learned many of his techniques and tricks and saw demonstrations using his special binding equipment.
My stay in the spacious new apartment built upstairs from the bindery included delicious meals prepared by Kieke and daily walks through the lush mountains surrounding their new home in a charming little town.It was definitely a worthwhile experience to have a one-on-one lesson with a master binder in his own bindery. I highly recommend a trip to Lembach to study with Ben in a beautiful environment.
